Für das Historie/Romanze-Spiel Hakuōki Shinsengumi Kitan, welches für weibliche Spieler ausgelegt ist und eine Produktion der Firma Idea Factory ist, soll eine Anime-Adoption veröffentlicht werden.

Die Geschichte, des 2008 für Sony's PlayStation 2 produzierte Spiel, dreht sich um einen weiblichen Protagonist und einer Riege von Samurai in Kyoto, im 19. Jahrhundert. Weitere Details, wie der Umfang, sind jedoch noch nicht bekannt.
