American publisher FUNimation has acquired two new anime series.
The first aquisition is the upcoming anime Rolling Girls from Wit Studio, who produced Attack on Titan. Kotomi Deai will direct the anime, while Yasuyuki Mutou created the scripts. The original character design comes from illustrator tanu and Katsuhiko Kitade the character designs for the animation. The main voice cast consists of Ari Ozawa as Nozomi Moritomo, Rina Hidaka as Yukina Kosaka, Risa Taneda as Ai Hibiki and Yumiri Hanamori as Aya Misonochi.
The anime's manga adaption runs in Mag Garden's Comic Garden magazine since october this year together with a four-panel manga in the Comic Blade magazine.

FUNimation didn't announce the exact time when the anime will be streamed, but it can be assumed that it will be a simulcast release.
The second license is the upcoming anime Death Parade from animation studio Madhouse. The TV series is a continuation of the anime short movie Death Billards.
Yuzuru Tachikawa is set to direct the production at studio Madhouse. He was the storyboard artist and episode director of the anime tv series Kill la Kill, Attack on Titan and Terror in Resonance. Shin'ichi Kurita will be in charge as the chef animation director and is responsible for the character design. Satoru Hirayanagi will take on the role as the art director. Yuuki Hayashi is composing the soundtrack for the anime.
The voice cast will be Tomoaki Maeno as Dekim, Asami Seto as Black-Haired Woman, Yoshimasu Hosoya as Ginty, Rumi Ookubo as Nona. Kouki Uchiyama as Clavice, Ryoko Shiraishi as Queen, Ryouka Yuzuki as Castra and Tesshou Genda as Oculus.
