Hyun ist nicht einfach nur der Trainer von Yongi, sondern auch gleichzeitig dessen Vorgesetzter in der Armee, der seit seiner Kindheit nach ihm schaut. Bedingt dadurch, dass er eben auch Soldat ist, geht er sehr strategisch an einen Kampf heran. Er sammelt so viele Informationen wie möglich von seinem Feind, um Strategien für den Angriff zu entwickeln. Alles was er Yongbi sagt, ist für ihn Befehl. Er wagt es auch nicht, den Anweisungen von Hyun zu widersprechen.
