Synopsis

Ever since she was a child, Aki wanted to become a professional taiko drummer, even though it was not always easy to balance her hard training with her part-time job in Tokyo. Fifteen years later, she returns to her old home village because her former teacher Yoshioka has convinced her to teach students there for him, even though she does not feel up to the task. She is now preparing the next generation for the local festival and is reminded of her difficult past and her strict father, who was never too convinced about her career as a musician. But much has changed in the tranquil town as it has grown a lot and lost a lot of its old charm. How will her father react to the musical festival?
