Synopsis

Kei and Yuri, probably the best-known special agents of the World Welfare Works Association (WWWA), may almost always solve their cases unerringly, though the chaos that accompanies their work repeatedly causes headaches and panic even among their ranks. But now the WWWA’s central computer has assigned the duo two cases at once – and both require a certain amount of finesse.

When an interstellar passenger plane explodes after a failed hijacking, the horror is great. More than 300 people have been aboard, according to the logbook, but no one has yet filed an insurance claim. The passenger list has disappeared, and two people were allegedly on board under false names. At about the same time, Dick, an old man, asks for help finding his missing son. He has been working on a revolutionary liquid, thanks to which a new chapter in space travel could begin. As Kei and Yuri delve into their investigation, they quickly see a connection. However, they are drawn into a real conspiracy and soon get into a dicey situation …
