Synopsis

The story, set in a futuristic version of 2018, centres on a family of four looking for a new home when they view a condominium in a state-of-the-art residential complex. Convinced by the excellent facilities in Kashiwa City, they decided to start a new life here. But suddenly the ground beneath them shakes and a giant robot appears where their flat had recently stood. On closer inspection, they realise that this is not an isolated incident, but that the entire city that was to become their new home is made up of apartment complexes that can transform into giant robots. Stunned, the family wonders what other secrets this city hides …
