#1Time sure flies... this OVA released about two months after I finished the anime which I only saw after having waited for the Blu-rays. And now it's nearly ten years later.
Truth be told, I forgot most things about this franchise. I don't even remember the names of the characters. But that doesn't affect my enjoyment. It's a good OVA. The writing is great and so is the animation direction. It's a very stark contrast with most anime from the 2020s I've seen in recent years, where the writing tends to be as weak as the animation direction is awful.
This really reminds me why I got into this hobby in the first place and I sure hope that the 2020s third season will keep up this level of quality.
