Die größte Stärke von Naka no Hito Genome ist seine Stimmung, die nicht, wie es bei Survival-Spielen üblich ist, in Richtung "dark and edgy" geht, sondern in Richtung "dark and cute". Der Autor des Mangas hat quasi ein neues Genre erschaffen. Die Geschichte ist, auch wenn das wie ein Widerspruch klingt, gleichzeitig düster-mysteriös und heiter-niedlich. Und sie ist überraschend spannend. Außerdem sind praktisch alle Charaktere sehr sympathisch. Der einzige Wermutstropfen ist, dass die Adaption mal wieder irgendwo in der Mitte aufhört.
