Anime Description

Kanwa “Veldora Nikki”, the anime special of Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken, follows Rimuru’s adventures from within him. After having been defeated and devoured by Rimuru, the powerful spirit Ifrit finds himself inside the slime and is suddenly faced with the fearsome and mighty dragon Veldora, who has taken up residence here! Much to his surprise, Ifrit doesn’t, however, find himself obliterated further by the dragon, but is instead roped into playing Japanese chess—shogi—with him. Veldora, you see, is incredibly bored and with Ifrit now trapped within Rimuru as well, he finally finds a playing partner to kill some time with.

Thus, Ifrit learns how to play shogi from Veldora and as the two of them play their games, they watch as Rimuru’s adventures in his nation within the Great Forest of Jura unfold …
