Synopsis

Detective Soutarou isn’t really successful in his field. He doesn’t even have enough money to pay his informant, Saki. So it’s very convenient for him that his old acquaintance, an editor, has a job for him: he is to investigate missing persons cases. These missing persons cases all have one thing in common: people, even entire groups, disappear without a trace, leaving only strange tyre tracks behind. What’s more, these cases are being covered up by the authorities.

Everything known so far points to the shadow world. An area where criminals and other outcasts gather, located in the city’s underground tunnels and adjacent catacombs. A treacherous and eerie place where even the police dare not go.
