Synopsis

To counteract the advancing Devouring, Myne offered her mana to the Church as an apprentice priestess. Yet her extraordinary talent and knowledge stirred resentment and greed among the nobility, many of whom wished to exploit her abilities for their ends. When not only her life but also the lives of her family and friends came under threat, she was left with no choice: she had to part from them and accept the offer to become the adopted daughter of Lord Sylvester Aub Ehrenfest. It was the only way to protect them all.

Thus begins her new life as Rosemyne, daughter of Karstedt’s third wife, while the commoner Myne is formally declared dead. This serves as preparation for Rozemyne’s baptism, where she will be formally presented to the nobility and adopted by Sylvester. However, her new environment brings old problems back to the surface. The people who understood her unique circumstances and supported her are no longer by her side, and she misses her family terribly. Will Rosemyne overcome these new obstacles and fulfil her duties as a noble? One thing is certain: failure is not an option if she wishes to protect the people she holds dear.
