Synopsis

The year is 2062, and a new form of baseball is capturing the hearts of the masses. The name of this new type of sport is “Battle Ball”, and it soon gets a new star who stands out with his clumsiness and passion. Ikki Sawamura has supernatural powers that he doesn’t yet know how to use properly, which causes a lot of problems in his community. But when his girlfriend dumps him one day to become a star, Ikki, who from then on is known mainly as “Ikkiman”, vows to become even more famous than she is in order to get back together with her. To do this, he joins the battle ball team “Blue Planets” and fights in difficult matches against aliens, during which he realises that he himself is an alien with superpowers who will help determine the fate of Earth …
