Synopsis
Sometimes love speaks louder than words, though not everyone is sure of their feelings. While middle school student Kashiwada’s face, which never shows emotion, resembles a masterpiece of stoicism, her classmate Oota’s emotions burst forth unchecked every day. She enjoys watching his explosive emotional outbursts, but he tries at all costs to break through her composure with exaggerated antics. So far, he has not been successful.
Whether Oota plays black Peter against Kashiwada or comes up with mischievous pranks, everything backfires. On top of that, he is known as the class clown, often gets single-digit test scores, and is constantly reprimanded by his teacher. Incidentally, Kashiwada, who is far more successful in school, sometimes wonders if he actually dislikes her, even though they spend so much time together. When they finally recognise their deeply hidden feelings for each other, an important question arises: Do opposites really attract?
