Synopsis

Screenwriter Ryou Matsumoto is loitering dejectedly by the side of the road after his latest work has once again been rejected by his TV producer. A man hurrying down the street bumps into him, apologises profusely and keeps running. Shortly afterwards, Ryou observes the man getting killed in a back alley and becomes the target of the killer himself. After a spectacular chase, he manages to escape from his pursuers – but when he files a complaint the following day, the police find no trace of the body or his pursuer. In conversation with the student Yuki Tamura, whom he met at the same time, he notices that since yesterday’s collision, he has been carrying an envelope that does not belong to him. It seems that this was indeed the target of the contract killer, because from then on, the two of them are haunted by danger and crime again and again …
