Description

An accident in the bakery’s oven caused a piece of bread stayed in the oven for way too long. Thus Kogepan was born - a piece of brunt bread, having no chance to be sold.

Kogepan ist ein gefülltes Brot mit roten Bohnen, das von einem unvorsichtigen Bäcker verbrannt worden ist und sich nun nicht verkaufen lässt. Deshalb irrt »es« in der Bäckerei herum und versucht neue Freundschaften zu schließen, was sich aber manchmal als schwierig herausstellt, weil Kogepan sehr eifersüchtig auf die anderen Brote ist. Die Eifersucht wird davon gefördert, dass diese Brote gut aussehen und an die Kunden verkauft werden und er als »Missgeschick« in den Regalen als Ladenhüter verweilt. Der Anime erzählt in 10 kurzen Episoden von Kogepan und seinem Leben in der Bäckerei und seinen Versuchen, jeden Tag interessant zu gestalten.
