Synopsis

One day, when 17-year-old Shou is still an ordinary high school student, he hears a loud explosion on his way home with Mizuki, with whom he is secretly in love. While investigating the scene, they discover a mysterious metal object, which later turns out to be a “Guyver Unit” mecha. Suddenly, Shou merges with the strange machine, mutating into the superhuman Guyver I. Mizuki then unceremoniously faints, and Shou is left alone to deal with the attacking “Zoanoid” Gregole, a kind of bio-creature commanded by a power-hungry organisation. Will he manage to defend the girl and come out of this unscathed?
