Synopsis

Hamasaki Densuke, known to many as “Hanma-chan”, often argues with his wife and chef. His former classmates have all moved on to higher positions in their careers, while he is still at the bottom of the ladder. He is unambitious, not very energetic and rather reserved – but all that changes in a big way when he pursues his only hobby: fishing. Then he becomes a different, much more likeable and self-confident person, whom many take to their hearts over time. One day, he even takes in the president of his company as a student to teach him the art of fishing. Hanma-chan lives out his love for fishing as much as he can – no matter how strange it gets or what people think of him.
