Synopsis

Karl is a curious boy with lots of friends, and in the town where he lives, there is a large square with a tall tower that has a strange shape and a rather unstable-looking structure. At the top of this tower is a large golden bell that rings three times a day as a reminder of mealtimes. But one day, the bell suddenly stops chiming, and nobody knows why … and, of course, nobody knows when it’s time to serve lunch again! Karl naturally wants to get to the bottom of the matter and sets off for the tower, where the legendary bell-ringer is said to live, who has not left the tower for many years …
