Tenkuu Danzato Skelter Heaven (2004)

The Alta Mira Agency, an organisation that operates strictly in secret, finds itself faced with a new task when a mysterious flying object suddenly appears over Tokyo. It turns out to be an alien life form that is not exactly in a peaceful mood. The Ministry of Defence asks for the organisation’s help to destroy the creature.

Otsuya Funagai is entrusted with training five artificially created girls and preparing them for the mission. Although he presents himself as emotionless and cool, he is firmly convinced that the girls are more than just a means to an end. This attitude is further confirmed when he is asked to choose one of the girls to give her special training. But this also means that the assignment could even cost lives.

Die Alta Mira Agency, eine Organisation, die strickt im Verborgenen agiert, findet sich vor eine neue Aufgabe gestellt, als plötzlich ein mysteriöses, fliegendes Objekt über Tokio erscheint. Es stellt sich heraus, dass es sich hierbei um eine außerirdische Lebensform handelt, die nicht gerade friedlich gestimmt ist. Das Verteidigungsministerium bittet die Organisation um Hilfe, um das Wesen zu vernichten.

Otsuya Funagai wird damit betraut, fünf künstlich erschaffene Mädchen auszubilden und auf die Mission vorzubereiten. Zwar gibt er sich sachlich und kühl, ist aber der festen Überzeugung, dass die Mädchen mehr als bloß Mittel zum Zweck sind. Diese Einstellung wird zusätzlich bestätigt, als er dazu aufgefordert wird, sich für eines der Mädchen zu entscheiden, um ihr ein spezielles Training zuteilwerden zu lassen. Doch das bedeutet ebenfalls, dass der Auftrag sogar Leben kosten könnte.
