Als Hiling zu König Bosses zweiter Ehefrau, die ihm Prinz Daida gebar, wurde, wollte sie Bojji, dessen ersten Sohn, etwas besser kennenlernen. Doch dieser wies sie immer ab. Seit dem Tod seiner Mutter Shiina öffnete er niemandem mehr sein Herz. Der kleine Bojji wurde eines Tages vom damals ebenfalls noch sehr jungen Mitsumata angegriffen. Die Schlange war mit Wunden übersät und Holzsplitter steckten in ihrem Körper. Der aufgestachelte Mitsumata wurde dann von Hiling weggetreten. Obwohl sie Bojji vor dem Angriff der Schlange gerettet hatte, weinte der Junge beim Anblick des verletzten Tieres. Hiling wandte daraufhin ihre Heilkräfte bei Mitsumata an, wodurch sich die Beziehung zwischen ihr und Bojji verbesserte.
