Touya ist ein Schulfreund von Taka Hanamura. Als die Beziehung zwischen Kyouko und ihrem Freund in die Brüche ging, wurde sie von Touya und Taka aufgeheitert. Als Taka schlecht über Männer sprach, meinte der etwas beleidigte Touya, dass genau einer von diesen vor ihnen stehe. Taka »heiterte« Touya dann auf, indem sie ihm sagte, er würde von ihnen ohnehin nicht als Mann wahrgenommen werden.

Als Sakura Nagami sich an Taka anlehnte, wurde diese plötzlich nervös. Taka wusste nicht, was los war, und wollte sehen, was passiert, wenn sie ihre Freunde Touya und Kyouko umarmt. Sie blieb ganz entspannt. Kyouko meinte zu Taka, sie sei verliebt …
