Als Mika Matsutani und Katsuya zusammen backten, erinnerte sie sich an einen kleinen Jungen, der damals immer glücklich gestrahlt hat, wenn er die Makaronen ihres Vaters gegessen hat. Dieser Junge war Katsuya. Damals war die Atmosphäre bei ihm zu Hause so unerträglich, dass er von dort weggelaufen ist. Ein fremder Mann – Mikas Vater – bot ihm dann freundlicherweise Makaronen an. Mika sagte ihm, die Makaronen ihres Vaters würden Wünsche erfüllen, weshalb er wieder lächeln sollte. Jahre später hatte Katsuya das bedürfnis, Mika wiederzusehen, weshalb er sich eine Scharade ausdachte.
