Nicks kommt von Deimos, einem Mond des Mars, und gehört zu den Klasse Zwei-Piloten. Er ist bereits seit längerem mit Akihiro befreundet, der vom Mars selbst kommt. Er ist sehr energisch und verliert schnell die Fassung, besonders dann, wenn Akihiro ihm überlegen ist. Da er manche Dinge schnell überstürzt, wird er oftmals von Akihiro aufgehalten, was jedoch dazu führt, dass Nicks wütend auf ihn wird. Nicks entdeckt als Erster den Vital Guarder und wird später in die Unterabteilung für diesen geschickt.
