Nachdem ausgerechnet Naoki Murakami es von den beiden nicht auf die Todai (die bekannteste Universität in Tokyo und ganz Japan) geschafft hat, lernt er auf der Waseda Universität Maki kennen und lieben. Das bildhübsche Mädchen lebt fortan mit ihm in einer Apartmentwohnung. So fürsorglich sie sich augenscheinlich um den immer noch in Erinnerungen an Haruka schwelgenden auch kümmert, steckt hinter ihr aber auch ein durchtriebenes Biest, die es zu verhindern weiß, dass Haruka noch einmal in sein Leben tritt, allerdings hat sie darüber hinaus noch eine Überraschung für ihn in petto, die ihn ziemlich durcheinanderbringt.
