Schwester Wilma war eine serbisch-orthodoxe Nonne in dem Kloster, das Waisenkind Teresa aufnahm. Sie verbrachte viel Zeit mit dem jungen Mädchen und kümmerte sich liebevoll um sie, wodurch sie zu ihrer wichtigsten Bezugsperson wurde. Ihr liebster Platz war der Blumengarten, wodurch sich auch die Liebe zu Blumen erklärt, die Teresa heute noch besitzt, insbesondere weiße Lilien, mit der sie die meisten Erinnerungen an sie verbindet. Wie alle ihre Ordensschwestern starb auch Wilma bei einem Überfall kroatischer Milizen durch die Hand von Croa.
