Er ist derjenige, der Friedrich Walz, den Direktor der ATP-Werke, getötet hat. Nach dem Mauerfall wurde er arbeitslos und vor allem verstärkte sich in dieser Zeit der Hass auf die ATP-Werke, denn diese kauften sich immer weiter in den Osten ein. Deswegen ist er auch der felsenfesten Überzeugung, er habe nichts falsches getan, denn an sich habe er nur sein Land, die DDR, verteidigt.
