Die Enkelin des Generals Shigehiko Nogi ist bei dessen Anhängern genauso respektiert wie er selbst und nach seiner Niederlage wären sie ihr wohl ebenfalls gefolgt, sie gerät aber in Gefangenschaft, wodurch praktisch auch ihr ganzer Clan in Unehre fällt und somit zerschlagen wird. Akuji zeigt sich von ihrer Widerstandskraft beeindruckt, weil sie Tamanegis Gehirnwäsche-Methoden übersteht und kümmert sich persönlich um die stolze junge Frau. Aus ihrem Auftreten spricht immer noch ihr früherer gesellschaftlicher hoher Status: sie besteht auf einer förmlichen Anrede und mag es nicht, dass Akuji wie selbstverständlich vertraut mit ihr spricht (er nennt sie „Kikko“). In einer Mischung aus Zwang und seinen Verführungskünsten verfällt sie ihm jedoch mit der Zeit mit Haut und Haaren und akzeptiert ihn als ihren Meister.
