Ruu ist der wohl vermutlich letzte Überlebende der königlichen Familie von Ashran und daher Hoffnungsträger einer ganzen Nation. Doch als er im Gefecht gegen Raalgon in seinem Gleiter abgeschossen wurde, hat er eine schwere Verletzung erlitten, wo er nur um Haaresbreite dem Tod entging. Nun leidet er an Gedächtnisschwund und kann auch nicht mehr sprechen. Nur selten zeigt er eine Reaktion auf seine Umgebung, ansonsten ist sein Blick von ständiger Emotionslosigkeit geprägt.
