Makina ist Leiterin der Gefängniswächter im Deadman Wonderland und genießt ihre Arbeit aufs Äußerste. Sie ist, wie man an ihrem Aussehen schon erahnen kann, eine strenge und eiskalte Persönlichkeit, die es mag, andere nieder zu machen und dabei auch nicht vor Gewalt scheut. So greift sie die Insassen des Gefängnisses auch mit ihrem Schwert an, wenn sie sich gegen ihre Befehle sträuben und scheut offensichtlich auch nicht davor zurück, sie wegen Kleinigkeiten zu töten.

Sie liebt ihre Macht über andere und zeigt es auch ganz offen. Umso weniger passt es ihr, wenn irgendwas im Gefängnis nicht nach ihrer Pfeife tanzt. Wenn es Obrigkeiten sind, die da ihre Finger im Spiel haben, hat sie auch kein Problem damit, nachzuforschen und sie auszuspionieren um wieder alles unter ihrer Kontrolle zu haben.
