Die traditionell japanisch gekleidete Mika ist die Dritte im Bunde neben Naomi und Kumiko, die einen Brief von der Schule erhalten hat, in dem sie wegen Verhaltensauffälligkeiten ihres Kindes zu einer Besprechung gebeten wird. Sie kann sich ein Fehlverhalten überhaupt nicht vorstellen, man macht ihr aber den Vorwurf, ihr Kind zu sehr verhätschelt zu haben - alle drei Frauen sind äußerst wohlhabend, worüber sie ihren Kinder vermittelt haben sollen, sie müssten sich für nichts in der Welt wirklich anstrengen. Mikas Sohn verhält sich der Aussage von Tomimatsu-sensei zufolge lustlos und gibt schnell auf, wenn ihm etwas zu anstrengend erscheint. Mika, die an seiner Stelle diszipliniert werden soll, entpuppt sich dabei im Kontrast zu ihrer makellosen Erscheinung als zutiefst masochistisch veranlagt.
