Kyouko begleitet Takatsuki als dessen Assistentin, wobei sie meist nur still daneben steht und wortkarg hinter ihm her trabt. Sie fühlt sich nutzlos, weil ohnehin niemand etwas von ihr erwarten würde, in dem Glauben, sie wäre nur wegen des Einflusses ihrer Eltern hier, denn sie ist Tochter des Präsidenten der Softwarefirma SFC, für die Takatsuki arbeitet. Ihr Selbstwertgefühl tendiert gegen Null, da sie sich für überflüssig hält und sich am liebsten vor allen verstecken würde. Dazu findet sie sich selbst auch noch hässlich, denn unter ihrem langen Pony versteckt sie eine senkrechte Narbe quer über ihr linkes Auge, die sie um jeden Preis zu verbergen sucht, weil sie sich dadurch als entstellt ansieht.
