Yahiko gehört dem sogenannten »Idioten-Trio« an, das aus ihm, Takafumi und Shinya besteht. Er gehört ebenfalls zum Kyuudo-Club und ist ein Klassenkamerad von Ryuunosuke. Dem Kyuudo-Club ist er allerdings nur beigetreten, weil sich dort die schöne Prinzessin der Seigetsu-Akademie aufhält, Tsukiko, in die er ein wenig verliebt ist. Yahiko stellt viel Unsinn an und ist sozusagen der Scherzkeks in dem Trio.
