Mitsugu ist der feste Freund von Tomoe. Die beiden sind zusammen nach Amerika ausgewandert um dort zu studieren. Mitsugu verhält sich Tomoe gegenüber sehr liebevoll und kümmert sich jede freie Minute um ihn. Tomoes Bruder Souichi hat allerdings ein starkes Problem mit Mitsugu, was diesen herzlich wenig zu interessieren scheint.
