Bereits als kleiner Junge kam Hugh in Kontakt mit der Bibliotheca Mystica de Dantalian und traf hier auf einen Mädchen mit rosafarbenden Haar. Obwohl er zu Anfang nicht wusste wo er sich befand, noch wer dieses Mädchen ist, gewann er schnell Empathie für sie und in gewisser Weise auch Mitleid, da sie hier so alleine ist. In Folge besuchte er sie oftmals und unterhielt sich mit ihr. Sein größter Wunsch war es jedoch sie hier heraus zu holen.
