Bei Kageura handelt es sich um einen Killer, der im Dienste von Himuro steht. Er zeichnet sich vor allem durch seine erstklassige Schwertführung aus, die sogar von Goemon anerkannt wird. Seine Klingen sind so gefährlich, weil sie ein wenig elastisch sind, wodurch er er sie nicht nur blitzschnell führen kann, sondern auch so schwingen kann, dass der Gegner die Position des Einschnittes nicht genau bestimmen kann. Seiner Profession geht er sehr gerne nach; man sieht an den strahlenden Augen den Spaß, den er empfindet, wenn er gegen einen stärkeren Gegner antreten darf.
