Mitsuru ist das verständnisvolle und liebevolle Hausmädchen von Tamakis Großmutter Ugaya, ebenso wie ihre rechte Hand. Obwohl Mitsuru noch sehr jung ist, unterstützt sie Tamaki und deren Großmutter bei allen möglichen Problemen. Sie verfügt über eine loyale Seite gegenüber Ugaya und erhofft sich von Tamaki Großes. Sie ist im Haushalt für das Essen, sowie andere häusliche Dinge verantwortlich. Sie kennt Takuma und Co. ebenfalls schon seit ihrer Kindheit und hat aufgrund von früheren Ereignissen ein arges Problem mit Shinji, den sie die meiste Zeit meidet oder gar ignoriert. Aus Geschichten von Takuma und Mahiro, soll Mitsuru in ihrer Kindheit ein recht ausgeprägtes Temperament gehabt und die Jungs oftmals in ihre Schranken gewiesen haben.
