Bei den Ordensschwestern des Waisenhauses konnte sich Inori immer geborgen fühlen. Als sie als Waise die Chance bekam in die bekannte und wohlhabene Ujiie-Familie einzuheiraten, freuten sich alle für sie. Doch obwohl die Leiterin des Waisenhauses Inori versicherte, dass sie immer wieder zu ihnen zurückkommen könnte, wenn es ihr dort nicht gut gehen würde, erträgt sie die Pein, um so zu verhindern, dass das Waisenhaus geschlossen wird, da es von Kyougetsu finanziert wird.
