Iijima ist der Assistent von Aki Abe in ihrer TV-Show, bei der es um Übernatürliches geht. Als Esper Watanabe ausgebootet wird und sie eine Show mit Gill du Le-Fell planen, soll er dafür Sorge tragen, dass Watanabe dermaßen aus der Haut fährt, das er Hell Girl auf Gill ansetzt. Das gelingt ihm überraschenderweise ausgezeichnet, denn eigentlich ist er von seiner Art ein ganz anderer.
