Das Gefühl der Einsamkeit musste Kaoru schon in frühem Kindesalter erfahren, denn seine Mutter ließ ihn sehr früh alleine und sein Vater ist geschäftlich oft unterwegs. Erschwerend kommt auch noch hinzu, dass er immer wieder umziehen musste und daher keine wirklichen Kontakte knüpfen konnte, weswegen er eigentlich seit jeher ein einsames Leben gewohnt ist.
