Bereits für die älteren Spieler sind die besonderen Umstände im MMORPG Sword Art Online sehr schwierig, doch für Kinder wie Mina, Gin und Cain ist es gelinde gesagt ein Schock. Da die Kinder größtenteils ohne ihre Eltern ins Spiel eintraten, kümmert sich nun Sasha um ihr Wohlergehen und baute eine Art Waisenhaus in einer der Kirchen in der Anfangsstadt auf und dreht täglich ihre Runde durch die Stadt, immer auf der Suche nach Leuten, die ihre Hilfe benötigen. Sasha ist eine sehr entschlossene Frau, die sich selbst gegen die sehr radikal gewordene Gilde The Army stellt um ihre Schützlinge zu beschützen. In solch einer Situation treffen sie auch Kirito und Asuna. Nachdem sie das üble Gesindel verjagt haben, erhoffen sie sich von ihr nun, dass sie etwas über Yui weiß.
