Eine große Kriegerin findet selten die Zeit, sich um ihr eigenes Heim zu kümmern. Und so lebt Kanata im Haus der Gräfin Brioche d’Arquien um sich dort um die alltäglich anfallenden Arbeiten zu kümmern. Neben dem Fegen des Hofes und der Hausarbeit gehört auch das Kochen zu ihren Aufgaben. Dabei erhält sie tatkräftige Unterstützung von den Hunden des Secret Squad (オンミツ部隊, Onmitsu Butai), die ihr beim Anheizen des Ofens und anderen kleinen Arbeiten helfen. Wenn Gäste zu Besuch sind erzählt sie auch gerne von früher, besonders von Yukkis Kindheit, die, obwohl Yukki ziemlich groß erscheint, doch noch nicht allzu lange zurückliegt.
