Darma ist ein Mann, dem man besser aus dem Weg gehen sollte, denn bei ihm ist Ärger vorprogrammiert. Er legt sich bevorzugt mit Personen an, die schwächer sind als er. So gehören auch die Megarawesen zu seinen bevorzugten Opfern, wie Otho schmerzvoll erfahren muss. Dass er aufgrund seines Verhaltens bereits von Ezra Gurney des Planeten verwiesen wurde, kümmert ihn wenig. Er gehört der Sorte Mensch an, gegen die sich die Megarawesen wehren wollen und deshalb ihren wiedergekehrten Herrscher unterstützen.
