Ema vesteht sich selbst als eine treue Begleiterin von Bertille, ihrer hochverehrten Ritterin, die sie zusammen mit An rund um die Uhr begleitet. Wer sie dabei aber für eine Art treues Schoßhündchen hält, irrt, denn sie gibt ihre Meinung nicht nur öfter mit spitzen Kommentaren zum besten, sondern verpasst Bertille auch gelegentlich einen Schubs in die richtige Richtung. Ansonsten steht sie ihr auch immer tapfer zur Seite, sei es um sie vor Unterwäsche fressenden Pferden zu schützen, oder um ihr klarzumachen das ihr Bikini wohl weit mehr von ihr verdeckt, als ihre Turnierrüstung.
