Tamotsu gilt in seiner Klasse eher als Außenseiter, mit dem die anderen nur wenig am Hut haben. Während die anderen in der Klasse Mitschülerin Usagi Shinohara zum Teil als lästig und nervend betrachten, findet er sie niedlich und hat sich längst in sie verliebt. Als er nach einiger Zeit sich endlich traut ihr seine Liebe zu gestehen und die beiden ein Paar werden, gefällt das allerdings nicht jedem.
