Natsume ist Kousukes Anwalt und ein Mitglied im Team von Kousuke und dessen Vater Yoshihisa, um im Real-Life-Btooom-Spiel zu überleben. Nach einigen Konflikten trennt er sich aber von der ehemaligen Gruppe und assistiert Masashi bei seinem Vorhaben. Natsume besitzt einen starken Bezug zum Gesetz, wodurch er ein Mal einen Mord aus Notwehr mit dem Gesetz als unbestrafbar einstuft, um für sich selbst ein reines Gewissen zu haben. Anfangs war Natsume eher pazifistisch veranlangt, was sich allerdings im Beisein von Masashi ändert und sogar soweit geht, dass auch er eine sadistische Neigung zeigt.
