Miyako Miyamori ist Kanon Miyamoris Mutter und die Wahrsagerin auf dem kleinen Volksfest der Insel. Sie ist charakterlich das genaue Gegenteil ihrer Tochter: Sie ist offen, lebensfroh, aufgeweckt und optimistisch und keine dieser Eigenschaften scheint auf ihre Tochter abgefärbt zu haben. Dennoch vertraut sie Kanon zeitweise ihren Wahrsagerstand an um sich anderweitig zu beschäftigen, dass Kanon dabei aber keinen allzu großen Erfolg hat und ihre Kunden eher vergrault, scheint Miyako nicht weiter zu stören.
Miyako versucht ab und zu Kanon ein Lächeln zu entlocken und sie mit ihrer unbeschwerten Art anzustecken jedoch mit sehr mäßigem Erfolg, denn Kanon hält sie für etwas kindisch und peinlich.
