Shuu musste sich schon als Kind an wenige Regeln halten und bekam auch selten Bestrafungen auferlegt. Seine Mutter kümmerte sich mehr um ihn, als um seinen Bruder Reiji, da Shuu als ältester Sohn als Nachfolger wertvoller für sie war. Er hatte schon als Kind eine wichtige Position inne, welche er auch heute als erwachsener noch behalten hat, sodass er entscheidet, was seine Brüder zu tun und zu lassen haben.
