Tsubaki geht in die gleiche Klasse wie An und ihre Freunde, ist allerdings extrem schüchtern und spricht kaum mit Menschen. An und Ruri stoßen zufällig mit ihr zusammen, als diese auf dem Weg zu Botan sind. Tsubaki verschwindet jedoch wieder, als Ruri sie anspricht.

Tsubaki ist diejenige, die den Roboter Timothy im Geheimen steuert, wovon niemand außer der Klassenlehrerin Kodaira etwas weiß. Mit dem Roboter Timothy gelingt es Tsubaki allerdings problemlos mit ihren Klassenkameraden zu kommunizieren, ohne dass diese Verdacht schöpfen.
