Hideo ist Shingos Partner bei seinen Ermittlungen als Polizist und benimmt sich selbst eher kindisch, als wie ein richtiger Erwachsener, trotzdem findet Shingo gefallen an ihm und amüsiert sich gerne mit ihm. Wenns es um Frauen geht, ist Hideo auch hier immer sehr schnell und macht sich immer an die erste Frau ran die er sieht, zumindest wenn diese ihm auch gefällt. Ein besonderes Auge hat er dabei auf Haruka geworfen, welche ihm sofort gefiel, nur zeigt diese keinerlei Interesse an ihm, egal wie viel Mühe er sich auch gibt.
