Youko Yano ist eine schwerttragende Schülerin im 1. Jahr der Oberstufe an der Tenchi Academy. Sie ein Mitglied der Kurogumi. Ihre Shinyuu ist Lennon Onjou. Die ständigen extremen Gewichtsschwankungen ihrer Partnerin lösen bei Youko nur noch völlige Resignation aus.
